PREXPOR FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
Roberto Toledo graduated from UPR (BA) with concentration on Economics and Political Science and a minor degree on international relations, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He holds an MBA, specialized on operations and the entertainment industry and a MMM (Master in Marketing Management) from Instituto de Empresa (IE). IE Business School is considered one of the best business schools of the world; recently rank second (2nd) International Business School by Business Week. Mr. Toledo specialized itself in service companies finishing the premier program “Leading Professional Service Firms” at Harvard Business School, this executive program is consider the best in the world by business experts. In addition he also has a degree from Cheung Kong University of Shanghai, China on Chinese marketing environment, extensive trainings of the luxury and fashion market at Milan and finish a specialized finance program called “Finance Fundamentals for Managers” at IE Business School.
Roberto Toledo is a serious entrepreneur he founded PREXPOR in 2008 and has been relentless in offering the PREXPOR solution. Mr. Toledo main philosophy is to measure its success thru the success of its partners, this has drive the company he founded and has given PREXPOR partners confidence to be part of the PREXPOR family. As president of PREXPOR he has attend the necessities of its partners with impetus, also he has work as a direct advisor to the economic team of the Governor of Puerto Rico, developing short term as well as future economic strategies for Puerto Rico.
He also has years of working experience on the retail, healthcare/Pharmaceutical and the education sector. As part of his accomplishments, he worked with Instituto de Empresa business school on the development of a CRM system. As the CRM manager, he was able to design and manage the development and implementation of the system, integrating and gathering information of the client and internal processes in order build an efficient system. This project was of great magnitude being the first business school on Spain to launch such a project. Also it helped to change the whole culture of the organization, resulting on a customer oriented company.
On the Pharmaceutical industry he was primarily focus on Marketing. He collaborated at MOVA pharmaceuticals. Roberto worked directly with Orbix Healthcare, MC-21, that is primarily an administrator of prescription drug programs. As a Marketing Analyst he covered different areas, focusing on marketing research, developing and implementing marketing plans. One of his most important accomplishments was the development of a customer loyalty plan for the improvement of customer service and revenues.
Finally on the retail industry his experience focuses on an auto parts retail store. As the general manager of Caribe Auto Parts the leading auto part of the east side of Puerto Rico, he was in charge of exploring opportunities for new businesses analyzing the profitability of them, purchases, budgets analysis and sales projections. Also it had the responsibility of managing a team of five collaborators, in which he manage to integrate and developed their soft skills.
Roberto Toledo have an extensive international network, being part of IE business school 30,000 alumni network, a strong interconnected web of business and political leaders of the world. He has work directly with pharmaceutical, retail, entrepreneurs and political leaders of Spain and Puerto Rico, having the “know how” of doing business on international markets.
